I came across a great deal on a 89 burb with a 350tbi with only 120 000 km's.
My 84 truck sounds like a valve or lifter is going to pop out and hit me :P. To swap it in the harness its only to pull the computer and put it on my fire wall and wire it up and put the 350?? or is it alot more complicated then that. Does any know a good tech article i could read? I am planing and freshing it up or rebuilding it not exactly sure. Its going to be kept stock. Oh yeah and for the fuel pump can i take the 2 from the burb to put on my truck or do i have to to buy one i was told the 2 are differnt. My truck has the saddle tank on it.

the harness will install on your firewall. but keep in mind you will want the whole harness. all the sensors your gona want the fuel pump. and the wiring back to that. i swapped the 89 motor and harness to my 79 tub. not to big of a deal just took some time. do yourself a huge favor and take time and label everything!!!!!! we did mine in bout 2 weekends. bout 16 hours total. we waste alot of time at the shop on weekends. everyone always stops and drinks.

kool thanks, ok i figured i was just goning to take the computer and the harness for the motor but takeing the whole harness maybe be less complicated. Labeling everything sounds like a pain in the ass but i bet when trying to plug everything back in it makes everything so much easer.
