I was gifted a tbss intake for a 5.3 I have. The 5.3 has a truck Norris nsr cam and the rest is stock besides the high volume oil pump. It is from a 2002 avalanche. Dbc with the blue red pcm. The intake has the fuel rail and injectors on it. I will be buying a harness for the motor so my guess is I can buy a harness for a dbc motor if I get a dbc tb. Or buy a dbw harness if I get a pcm and dbw tb and a pedal. Is that train of thought correct? Also can the injectors on the tbss intake be controlled by the blue red pcm? I’m sure this post is repetitive to many ls guys but this is my first swap and I am a lil overwhelmed with information.

On my latest swap I just bought a Holley throttle body (92mm) for the tbss intake. Then get the harness for dbc and use your current ecm.

These days we use Holley terminator harness and ecm’s on everything, very user friendly and easy to tune, just make sure to use a laptop and not the little 3” screen.

As far as the injectors as long as you get the right connectors on the harness you’re good to go. Any ecm will run them.

Thank you, that’s what I needed to hear.

Verify your ecm is tuned for the lbs per hr of the injectors. this will save you some head aches later.
Will do. When I get to that point. I’ll screen shot this post and put it with my build pics so I can remember it for later
