Hello,
Well my '86 has been off the road for about 1 month. The front seal on my tranny went south hard core. I don't want to drop another tranny for a long time so I am going to spend the 300 bucks and have it done my engine builder. I want to change the converter and have him put in a shift kit while it's all torn apart. Should I go higher or lower on the stall? I will be caming the engine next year. The truck will not see to much off-roading or mudding  . What is the stock stall speed for a Th350?
Thanks
Adam

Most stock TH350's I've had stall between 1300 and 1700 rpm. The best thing to do would be to match a converter to the cam you plan on putting in.
