TC identification?

5.7 TBI
auto w/od
What trans. case did these come with and is there any way to identify them(tags,#'s,etc.)
P.S New to the 4x4 world,damage so far-lost alternator,destroyed ps.front axle u joint
Mods-installed 22"bucket in 16"space between front seats(needed 1 more seat for wife and 4 kids)
Any info appreciated.

the trans is 700R4, the tcase is 241. Can't say how to look at it and tell I just know that. 700R4 was the only OD automatic back then as well.

there should be a tag for ID

the 208 looks similar, but im guessing you have a 241.
