My 454/TH400 sounds like a knock, but it sound like it's coming from between the 2. What might it be? Just got it, haven't run it much.

a friend of mine had one that behaved like that, would only do it in neutral and we were convinced it was a bad cat until we spent about an hour looking listening and beating on stuff with a rubber mallet to try and figure out where the rattling noice was coming from. Damn flexplate
Cracked flexplate makes a chirping sound, and sounds like yours might have loose torque convertor bolts.
