So, heres the issue - My 700r4 TC kicks over at 45MPH. Its really annoying. While rolling on the interstate today I had an idea. A way to lock up at a later (higher) MPH.

The signal is sent once the pressure switch is set from the required amount of psi. So, would changing the switch to a higher psi delay the TC lock up due to needing to achieve a higher pis to throw the switch ?

Heh - It works out in my head anyways. I could be totally bass-ackwards though - who knows.

Anyone got the 700r4 lingo to verify my idea ? Or another way to delay ?

I am also not looking to throw the TCL manually - Theres plenty of how-to threads on this board for that info.

Thanks for the replies

That's the only way I can think of. No idea where you'd find something that was rated higher though. Very well may be multiple calibrations of that switch though, stock...
