i got an question, im going to to ordering a level 2 BTO 700r soon or ordering a rebuild kit for my 700 depending on my money situation.these r my specs, 400hp 350,700r4,5.13s with 38 TSLs. its my DD still and i have a 1800 stall converter in it now from BTO, and i like it. some of my buddies say i should get a stock (1300-1400 stall) or a towing one. what do you guys think?

you know i hated my 1900 stall in my th400

or get a 465 205 and never worry again

For use as a truck/wheeler you should have a stock convertor (usually around 1200-1300 stall).

The BTO guys know transmissions like you wouldn't believe. Ask them this same question and go with their answer.

you love shoving it in (to gear), and hoping that theres enough friction to get off and moving

so i just talked to a guy at BTO and he said that an 1800 stall or if it was not my DD to get a the 2200:eek1: would be good to get into the torque, even though i go offroading ill have a little more torque just crawling up rocks and stuff he said...so i think im gonna go with the 1600 stall one, everyone says get a stock one (1400 stall) and 1600 is only 200 more so i think i made my choice...

i think my tc is 2200 or 2000 I cant remember. but the other day i was able to walk the truck right up a tire in 2wd I might add
