TC & Trans Q?

For better technical understanding, and so I can insure I am asking the right questions at the trans shop...

Please describe in technical detail the difference between a gas and diesel torque converter and 700R4 transmission.

Mine needs R&R or TLC... yet to decide.

Only two differences on the torque converter. The stall speed is lower on the diesel vs gas and there are 6 mounting bolts on the diesel version vs 3 on the gas version.

Other than that, the governor is different on the diesel to lower the shift points vs gas version 700R4's.
