tcase conversion and couple of other things

ok first off i have a tcase that has been converted to a part time the truck is a 79 so i believe it has an np203. the last owner told me this conversion was done but the truck doesnt run and there is no front drive shaft (the joint grenaded). I need to know how hard/easy it is to remove this. please go easy on me motors i understand the farthest ive ever been into a tranny or tcase was changed the tranny fluid which i did last night any help is appreciated

umm.... was the question removing the Tcase or the 4 wheel eliminator thingy????
