How does the shifter piece that is apart of the floor board come out? I tried with no success, but it was after a long day of working.

I'm sorry.

It's a 1991 suburban with a solid floor pan and the tcase is a np241. I'm having trouble taking off the piece connected to the floor that connects the shifter to the rod for the t case to shift. I guess you could call it the "bucket"

If this isn't enough info, I can snap a picture tomorrow after work.

did you remove the plastic cover yet?
After you remove that cover you can remove the shifter bucket as you called it , 4 or 6 screws, you can see them in the cover I posted a pic of in your wanted ad.

Sounds like I need to take a better look at what I got, I noticed that picture and thought mine was different. It's dark outside and I'm trying to plan my next attack before actually looking.

Thanks guys

Well now it's dark here but tomorrow morning I will go out and take some pics showing you locations of all the screws and bolts.

Thank you, you are the man. :thumb:

This thread is me thinking out loud. I appreciate answering all my noob questions.

here you go, the cover has 2 screws in the front, and 2 in back pictured first, then once you remove the plastic cover you see the bolts 6 in my case that bolt the bottom piece to the floor.

Well you got it on the third try.:thumb:
I always help when I can, sometimes I don't have the time, sometimes I don't have access to the pics or the parts.

Got it out tonight, it had some seam sealer or epoxy and I had to hit it pretty hard... :dunno:
