TCI Transmission

Summit lists a TCI Truckmaster Transmission for under $1000. Does anyone have any knowledge of this product. I have a well built 454 with a 350 hydro and summit claims the TCI 350 hydro can handle 550 horse
I need to replace mine I blew up my 350 hydro in a mud hole now it only goes forward in first gear. I appreciate any feed back.

Dude, if you only need a 3 speed, just get a th400 and be done with it. I'd rather have a stock th400 than a built to the hilt th350.

X2... especially with a 454, I wouldn't consider anything less than a TH400

Pretty sure the th400 is about 3-4" longer than the th350. Of course, which tcase you use and what adapters it needs may determine whether you need to change the lengths of your driveshafts etc.
