Must have.

3540 total if its 59 a month. Doesnt seem to bad. Just that the top two decks are just that. Decks no drawers. The Rhino-Lined top was nice. Id buy the bottom for sure if I was in the market for a box.

$59 a week boss. No one does monthly financing like that. I'd buy a few if it were $59 a month ;)

Wait and pick one up used when someone cant make the payments. I bought a 80th anniversery Snap On box that way. It was about $1500 less.

Snap-On kicks our asses when it comes to graphics and design boxes. We REALLY need to step up the game. I think the only popular one we have ever had was the Rat Fink boxes. Other than that, our special edition boxes are stupid imo. I've said that openly to anyone at Matco who would listen, ha.

I take it you work for Matco. Thier boxes are made about 5 miles from my house.

Not really work for, but yea. I am a Matco Distributor. Someday I will make a trip up there and check out the plant. I'm told as a distributor I am welcome to any time.

Those Rat Fink boxes are sweet other then that ive never seen another special edition matco

There is a local guy that does all the air brushing on thier boxes. The rat fink dually was his actual truck minus Rat Fink. Dually still runs around with custom paint.

Apparently we had a Speed Racer box before. And Racer X. Someone asked today if I could find them one. Haha. Never heard of or seen them, gonna have to ask some other guys.

I saw both of those. I may be able to hook you up with our Matco dealer. There were actually quite a few special paint scheme boxes around here. How about we start a Matco post so the Ted/Snap On fans can talk about the box posted.

You guys would laugh if you seen my boxes.

I find its the tools outside the box that are making the $ anyway!

That being said, I wouldn't mind a nice new one.

Eh a nice new box is a source of pride.

I see it all the time. The independents have small boxes. They trust everyone they work with and can put tools wherever they want. As well as borrowing each others tools all the time. I'd lump you in that group I bet.

Dealerships. Trust no one and "you aren't borrowing ****". So you need the tools and the secure space. It is the way of things. That and when you shove 20+ guys in one building, ego comes into play, haha.

If I were still turning a wrench, I would have a brand new Matco box right now. Probably a Black 6328R(triple bay) with a side locker. Someday I am sure I will get myself a nice new box for the garage at home, but thats a long way off.

I'd totally go along with that. I'd love to have a new box with some wheels that roll and drawers that don't clunk down. Not sure it'd get me to drag my tools back to the box everytime I finish a job. I do like having nice equipment and it totally makes your time in the shop more enjoyable in my opinion.

Maybe that's my problem. I have so many projects going at one time that it's few and far between that I actually finish one it seems. Usually once a week I make a trip round the shop and grab all the tools and drag them back to the box and dump them in the appropriate drawers. No organizing them, just dump. Back to work!

haha, organization makes things go quicker. I used to be the same way. Now I can't stand tools being on top of each other or out of place. Which sucks since I am out of room in my present box.

I use my tool cart for my "dump" spot. Dump tools in there, close it up and everything appears clean. Then I can organize when I feel like. Used to do that at 5pm everyday ;).

Check Menards Kert

Dad just bought me a Clarke HD Box for my birthday after he saw me oogling the snap-on boxs in a catalog.

We havnt gone to spencer to get it yet, but its got ball bearings and lock drawers I guess. Black with some gold trip. I think it was only like 300 and some. A mid box with 3 drawers came free too.
