This last weekend I pulled the 6.5TD/NV4500 out of my 94 K2500 for my K5. It had a drivers side drop 241C mounted on it that is now in my way. I want to unload it and put the money towards a correct t-case. What would be a good asking price for one? Thanks.

I'd ask 200 and accept as low as 150 maybe 125. Right now parts in our area are not selling well at all. You may very well be unable to sell it for anything more than 50 bucks.

Yeah I don't expect much out of it. Being a drivers side drop there just isn't a demand. I guess I should mention that it is 32 spline 6 bolt round mounting pattern.

DS drop is actually better for resale ATM IMO because its applicable for a newer truck (think DD). There isnt many people who are keeping up with their automotive hobbies in the current market but theirs a whole lot of people that need their daily drivers to run well. If some moron misdiagnoses an issue as it being with his transfercase (i've seen it countless times,Idiots think because their u-joints are falling apart with 150k miles on em the transfercase must be bad) you got yourself an easy sale. Hell you might even get asking price :haha:.

What you lookin for? Ive got a pass drop 241 with a SYE on it and flanges on both ends for CV shafts I may consider parting with now that Im an isuzu boy :D

For whatever it's worth, the 32 spline driver's drop 241 i bought about 5 years ago I gave $175 for.

If it were me I'd rob the 32 spline input and the planetary stuff and sell those. You'll get about as much as for the whole case anyways.

I am not looking to do doubler. As far as I am concerned a NV4500 with a NP241 will give me all the gearing I need. However Rene has a point. I could keep it in case I find a cheap 27 spline unit and swap over the input.

Manual shift? Some people like those to convert their pushbutton shift t-cases.

If that helps...
