tell me what you think of this???

OK... I went to look at it today, and confirm with the gentleman that I'm getting it from that he'd let me take it. everything is a go so now I gotta get some wheel's on this thing and drag it home.

I did get some other pics of this thing, and it does say chevrolet on the side, and not thrift master.

from what I can ascertain this is a 50.

These are great trucks to rod or restore. There are tons of parts availible at reasonable prices. They look great too. Get the title before you do anything. If there isn't one, find out what needs to be done to get one. It's a pile of parts without it. I have a 56 GMC big window, no rust and I can't wait until I finish my current project to get started on it. Good Luck and go for it!

so what is your current project? (and I live in WY... should be cake to get a title with a bill of sale... if not I can tow it to my house, let it sit for a year, put a HUGH lean on it for storage fee's, and get a sherifs title)

I'm converting my 70 Jimmy to 2wd and lowering it. I've got to finish notching the crossmember and c notch the rear among other things. There is some rust to take care of in the rockers and I need to recover my recaro seats. The list goes on. A good friend of mine has just chopped his 53 Chevy truck and it looks great. I'll be helping him get it on the road too.

where is some pics of that 53??? both those sound like fun projects!

actually I wouldn't mind making JMT a 2wd eventually... I'd think it would be pretty easy with a 2wd donnor. (eventuall, as in 6-7 years from now)
