Tell me your story-Axle Breakage

Most 10-bolt breakage is from the Gov-lock. That is what went on my first one. I had it rebuilt with a Auburn and 3.73 gears, and about 6 months later I was backing out of my driveway and SNAP! Down she went. Broke the left axle. I was not on the gas, turning or anything. Just coasting out of the driveway.

How did that happen? Any causes? Maybe worn axle shaft? Just wonde3ring

i was driving along with my friends girl and the drive shaft fell out of her 4" lifted k5. just flopped around back there by the chunk.
