Temp gauge ID help

I can't definitively identify what application this gauge is used in. I need to get a temp sender for it but they all seem application based and don't offer any other details.

It is not labeled with a part number and I have no idea where I got them.

That style started in 80 or 81, unsure when they went away

Thought I should post this info since its valuable for others who are running into this issue. I recently replaced my cluster and my temp gauge was barely registering on the 1st tick mark. After doing some research I found the years can make a difference. I have a 1979 and I'm willing to bet...

Based on this and the info in that other thread, I’d warrant a guess it uses the old sender

Yes I have come that conclusion as well. @Bent77
The 220 high temp, tells me it is from a early emission control systems. Before 195* t stats

Well that's good news. I have my 91 sender in there now. Been wanting to swap the gauge. I have the 260 now.
I guess that's why there is a shortage of information cause they are all the same.

So that is 3/8 npt, if it works that will be good to know. I needed to turn down a 1/2"NPT and re thread for 3/8". This will be a good alternative

i swapped a gas gauge for a 6.2 guage and it was the same sender aspr the part# cross .

thats a different one i have not seen before .

These came from a diesel c60 cluster I had a while back.
