Temp gauge sensor location on an 89?

Well my temp gauge doesn't work so I thought I'd try the 6 dollor sensor bought it and a Hayes manual(whick is a BIG waste of money) Anyways where is this thing I'm sure I can find it but I don't want to have to tear this thing about looking for it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

the gauge sensor should be in the drivers side head, and the computer sensor should be in the manifold. The gauge sensors connector is flat slide type (best description i can give, but it may have just come unhooked, mine used to alot till i put a drop of sauter on the connector to close it in)
