Ok, I have a done a bit of searching but I haven't found anything at this point and I need this done.

I have a 90 GMC Suburban 350 4x4 and my temp gauge is not working. The reason it is not working is because I do not have the connector for the green wire that attaches to the side of the engine. The wire has the connector on it but the engine side is missing a part.

Does anyone maybe have a picture or can point in the direction of what it will take to get it connected.

Thanks

The temp sensor that is in the top of the manifold next to the thermostat has been recently replaced.

The one I was referring to possibly needing replaced is the one in the side of the head, for the gauge, sensor/sender,,,whatever

Alright, so I just went out the Suburban for lunch and found my problem. My wire wasn't conenctoed because it was disconnected. I was looking last night for it and I couldn't find it because it was dark and I wasn't completely looking. So day light is nice to find things and now my temp gauge is working.

Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks Avery. Where do you do your wheeling at around here? I used to run a Toyota and a Cherokee and most of the guys I wheeled with tell me I shouldn't even bother doing the trails around here unless its bald mountain, as I will come out with a lot of body damage. But a full size is a little bigger than a Toyota or a Jeep I guess.

I always thought body damage was cool.

I go to pismo a couple times a year to go fast and do my crawling up around shaver. There is a good little group of us that go together if you check out norcalbigdawgs.net you'll find us.
Well those guys were right that you'll get body damage up here in a full-size but so what. I've got my fair share of sheetmetal damage but I get it done. :)
