Temp guage stop working

Hi everyone the other day I was doing a routine maintence and I replace my spark plugs and everything ever since I did that my temp gauge doesn't work I found a wire and I think iv mite of unhook it by accedent plezz help thanks everyone

It's a 88 gmc jimmy sierra classic

The sending unit is under number 3 cylinder. Check that and see if its still hooked up. I think it's green.

Look at the left side of the engine, should be a sensor screwed in near the exhaust manifold, with one wire hooked up to it. If that wire isn't hooked up, you've found your problem.

Ok if I'm at the front of the jimmy looking at the motor do I look left or right

right... the ds of the vehicle.. it's a green wire..

If you can't see it your prob gonna have to stick your hand between the exhaust manifold to feel for the sending unit
