Test the new chat room

Hey Steve, would it be possible to set up voice chat ??? I've seen it befor on some chat sites. Or even video chat for those of us with webcams. But the voice chat thing sounds fun to me. I tipe so slowly that I can't ever keep up with most chats.

I clicked on the link and I can't get into the chat room. I just see a grey-colored page and its blank. I do see another small window pop up telling me to leave the window open for others to view names in the chat room.

What am I doing wrong, if so? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
Are you on a dial up or something? It may take a while to load if yes. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Yep, sure am on dial up. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif I will try it again and let it run out and see what happens.

Yep, at work there is a firewall to prevent the kids from using various chat rooms. Unfortunately, at home I viewed the same thing I saw at work...the grey, blank page of the chat room. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Steve, or anybody, I'm finally able to view the log-in page, but my password won't let me in. Am I doing something wrong or has the password been changed? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
Click on the chat link again it should shoot you right in.

The firewall here at work is my problem. I tried 4 times before I realized the firewall was blocking me. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I couldn't get it to work with the Opera browser. It says "The chat room cannot be accessed from this page." It works fine on IE though.
 
What is an Opera browser?
 
One of the many other available browsers out there. It has its uses. Mainly at IT locations where multiple windows can be used in a single browser instance. Unlike IE where you have to open up seperate instances, using up a buttload more resources.

But yah, just another browser that has less support on the internet than others.
