TH 400 output lenths.

I know the Th400's for a 203 have a different lenth out-put than the ones for a 205,but what about a 208.Can I take the 208 off and put my short input 205 on without any changes,or will I have to get a long 205 input and/or change the out-put before it will work.I bought a Burb with a rebuilt 400 and want to keep it and ditch the 208.

IIRC the 203 and 205 400's had the same stick out length and the 208 was different.

The 203 uses the shortest TH-400 output, late 205 (long inupt) uses a shorter output than the early 205 (short input). I think that the 208 and the late 205 take the same output TH-400.

As for your question, no you can't use the 208 version TH-400 with the short input 205.
