Th 400 question

I recently purchased a m1028, and an swapping drivetrains to my 84 K5. Will I have to do anything to the th400 to make it work with the gas motor? I read somewhere that the servos would have to be changed but not sure. Also can i use the torque converter from the 6.2?

The convertor between gas and diesel are a different stall speed and the governor will need to be changed ($20.00 part and easily changed).

Your right it was the governor.been a while since i read about it
