TH 400 to doubler adapter leak

I know on the 700-r4 its just the square cut o-ring between trans and image.jpg
Ive been using this stuff since it came out years ago. Used to be like 8 bucks. Now its damn near thirty. Bastards know its good.

Love rightstuff!

The only other stuff that is just as good is hondabond

LOL I was just about to suggest Toyota's stuff. I swear you can put it in the glove box and it would stop leaks!

Right stuff or great stuff FTW! As long as you don't need to take it apart. We started putting jack bolts on our diff covers over that substance because we just couldn't get them off for service.

Check the adapter for being flat. We often put them in the lathe and true them up and find some pretty serious humps in them and have had some gaps show up when a hump in the adapter lines up with a hump on the back of the trans. Really though, good silicone will probably fix it.

I got the sealer and adapter ready. I decided to go farther and look at an oil leak at the back of
the engine. It has been leaking from the oil galley plugs since I had some machine work done
I am going to put some Right stuff on the plug and torque it down.

I am going to straight edge everything, Thanks Stephen
