TH350/203 conversion to TH350/205??

Hey, guys. This is my first post and my first day as a member. It looks like y'all have a lot of good info on here and I look forward to getting to know you.

I have a '79 K5. It currently has a TH350/NP203. I believe (but have not verified) that the chain in the 203 is broken. I have an opportunity to buy a 205 in good working order from a '79 for a very good price. That '79, however, had a SM465 tranny. So the input on that 205 is 10 spline where the output on my tranny will be 27 spline (I think).

What are my options for adapting this 205 to my transmission?

Advance adapters now makes a adapter sleeve from a 27 spline to a 10 spline shaft or you could change the front input shaft on your 205.You will also need the adapter to go from a th350 to the 205
