theres a loud grinding noise comin from my tcase when i let off the gas at about 45-55 mph..any ideas on what this could be?th350/205

Seems a lot of us have experienced this. I wouldn't call mine a grinding noise but more of a rattle. Like there is tons of slop between the twin stix or something. I live with it. My shaft angles are 2* different at each end which is supposed to be right on for a non CV joint shaft.

I just did my triple stick and i've got the same problem.... I've got some theories on what it could be. I'll post up a vid of it tomorrow. it's driving me crazy!!!!

Yep, driveline vibrations (even if you don't really feel them) will cause that noise in gear driven transfer cases.

It doesn't seem to really damage anything but it is VERY annoying.

I had the same problems but i had an sm465/208 combo. It ended up being the motor mounts. It allowed the motor and along with it the tranny and tcase.

Common problem with lifted Blazers. As said above get your drive line angles right.
It will usually help but may not entirely get rid of the noise.
Getting my drive shaft lengthened and the angles right helped mine a lot.
