need help, getting trans fluid in the transfer case.it has a drive collar 10 spline to 27 spline with a seal at one end. Am I missing something

Seal in backwards ? Had 1 do this year's ago . Also o-ring missing on shaft . I know the correct 27 spline input gear has a o-ring on in .

check the turbo 350 vent make sure it is open and not plugged up. If the trans build pressure it will push fluid past the best seals

TH350 trans with 10 spline 205, the adapter will have a couple seals in it to ride on the outside of the drivesleeve and the drivesleeve will have a little seal in it to seal around the smooth surface of the input gear. In general the seals aren't super reliable, I think because they ride on a component that isn't held in perfect alignment all the time. Meaning the sleeve is only centered on the splines and doesn't always ride in the center of the seals. They generally work fine, just not for a long time so if it's been in there a while it might just need new seals. If it's leaking and all brand new stuff, there's a problem.
