Th350/Np205 spacer

Hello,
I need a 4" 3/8 spacer for my Th350/Np205 combo. The tail shaft is too long (DUH) I don't want to go through all the bulls%^t of tearing the tranny down to put a shorter shaft in.

I saw one truck at a junkyard that had a spacer between the transfer case and tranny-it appeared to be the rear section of another TH350 tranny tailshaft housing bandsawed off!..maybe thats an option??...
