th350 still shifts weird

when i first start up my blazer the 350 trannsmition wont go into gear for about 7 seconds. if i rev it it will pop into gear faster but it will also be slamming into gear. whats the deal? i have it at the right level of fluid too.

i had a 2wd that did that. it was the frt pump. if u got to replace the pump u might as wwell rebiuld it.

there might be something else that can cause it but i don't know. i would go by a local tranny shop & ask them

I had the same problem with my TH 400 two years ago.

Sounds like a pump. If it is, might as well rebuild the whole thing anyways. It doesn't matter what gear you shift into, takes the same amount of time to go into gear?
