I just recently swapped a 350/205 combo out of a used blazer i picked up. I got it into my blazer, replace the tranny kickdown, changed the filter new fluid and all is well.

BUT when i am at a stop and start to move if i get on it, (not even WOT just 3/4 pedal) while in first it revs high then starts to studder and shake the whole truck until i let off the gas and then it shifts fine.

If i keep my foot out of it, which 99% of the time i do it does great, nice smooth shifts no problems. Any ideas on what is causing it?

When i installed the kickdown cable, i opened the throttle to WOT and then pulled the cable tight and installed. is that the correct way?
this is the kick down i installed:

my 700r does that sometimes...i just kind of ignore it cuz i know 400hp its gonna kill a stock 700r anyways haha. sorry man, i dont really know, the only guess i have is my gearing...please dont hate me, im trying to get 5.13s but i have 3.73s with 38s. and im just thinking when i get on it the strain of tires/gears is doing it.
