Hey guys, has anybody swapped a 700R4 into a TH350 truck? I'm having difficulty making the floor tc shifter match the rod length after extending the rods. It appears the shifter bracket has moved rearward 2" and needs to be moved back forward 2 in ??

I did, I had to make the hole in the floor bigger to rear. Didn't need to mod the tcase linkage. Using a th350 np205 adapter which the shifter bolts to, so dimensions are the same, shifter to t case.

I was able to use the figure 8 adapter from the 350 and unfortunately I was told to extend the linkage to inches to put the shifter in the middle of the hole but I've still had to remove 3/4 of an inch to the rear of the shifter hole and the rods will still not connect to the shifter so I'm kind of confused. But then, nothing new there...
But that's good information to know. Thank you !

I think I might have been more like and inch and 3/4 enlarging the hole.

maybe can see how big it needs to go
