Runnin a 350/205..have a 10spline 465 sittin in the garage......Was I reading AA's site correctly.....all I'd need is a new coupler to bolt an 10 spline sm465 to a 27 spline 205 and retain the 350/205 adapter? That cant be right. There site can be akward to browse and Im sure not everything is listed there.

Anyone else done this? Ive searced around quite a bit but found nothing of swapping a turbo 350 for a 465. I figured it would require changing the shaft in the case and a new adapter but i could be wrong. Might hafta call them.

i think you need the 465-205 adaptor, then use that coupler to mate the mis-matched splines

That would make things pretty simple but if I do it I'd go all the way and go 32 spline for strength. IIRC the adapter bearing is different though. Im gonna call and get a $$ on parts.

Hey dude.
I swapped from a 27 spline th350/np205 to a 10 spline sm465/np205...
They bolt up the same, meaning your driveshaft lengths will not change and everything is the exact same dimensions.

If you have the 10 spline sm465, you just need to find a 10 spline 205 and the adapter, and a coupler sleeve.

Sweet. Guess I'll collect parts and someday do the swap.
