th350 trans to a 400

What does it take to acomplish this swap?

Is it worht it?

I have heard the 400's are a better trans, Any comments?

I have a 203 transfercase!

I'm doing this very swap, althought he TH350 has lasted for 11 years behind a mildly built 454, with 39.5" Swampers on a 6600 pound Suburban. To convert to a TH400, you will need a TH400 version 203, this is the easiest way. Otherwise, you'll need the adapter and the input gear for the 203 (which is defferent between the 350 and 400 trans), then totally disassemble the 203 to install the input gear. Finding a TH400/203 is easier.
