I am looking into this swap? How much work is involved with it? Any info from people who have done this is greatly appreciated...Oh yeah I am taking out the 700 for a 350. Thanks

I don't know if they did, but if GM offered the TH350 with a NP208 case then a 241 would swap behind that trans (assuming it is the same output spline)

I know you can swap a 208 and 241 behind a 700R4 as long as it started with the other case.

the output shafts are defferent if my memory serves me right. I'm going the other way and put the 700 and 241 (or 208) for my t-350/203(w/part time)

Just wondering, why would you get rid of a 700 if it wasnt broken?

Cause my 700 is slowly dying. Really just looking into my options this one seems the cheapest since TH350's are a pretty common trans to find, and I really don't ever use the OD.

208 and 241 are the same. if you can, have the shafts swapped from the 700 to the 350 thats the only difference. i put a 350 shaft in my 700 to bolt up the th350 203 for the doubler so it should work the other way. stephen from offroad design would be a good person to ask.....
