i just picked up a rebuilt 400 trans that was goin into a 2wd pickup ... what has to be done to be able to bolt up a np 205??? is it just a different tailshaft or what.. thanks for ur time

Not really a tailshaft its an input shaft that needs changed. You just take the tailhousing off, I am not sure of the right tailshaft but I am sure someone can come up with a part number or something more helpful
