TH400 and Dana 300

Found this kit for the job, says I need a short output Th400, like a 203. I have a 208 behind the 400 now, anybody know what length output I have?

Or any suggestions on how to dump the 208 and get a sye in the process, without tearing into the tranny?

you have the longest output shaft. In order to change to the shortest you will need a complete teardown of the trans. you can find the short shaft you need at any transmission repair shop or trans part store.

fyi- the shortest is a 400/203
middle is 1" longer and for a 400/205
and the last is a 400/208
