th400 and np208 speedo problems..

okay heres teh deal have a th400 with the speedo gear spot plugged witha soft plug and siliconed (came this way)

and the np208 has the speedo cable going into it.
speedo dont work tomarrow im gonna pull the cable out of the tranfercase and see whats up...

so which should i put the speedo cable into i have a spare th400 so i have another gear setup and little housing...

You have to keep the speedo on the Tcase or it wont work in 4wd.

now to figure out why the speedo doesn't work...

probably a broken gear that is hard to find wiht my luck..

Be sure to put the speedo fully into the hole. The O-ring type seal often prevents the cap from being fully inserted. Try with a soft hammer.
