Oh Lord not another crapped out 400 for me.....ok here goes..........trans works fine, sounds fine in P N D 2 1. When you drop it in reverse it starts making this noise, sounds like a rattle combined with a clunking. Havent determined if its RPM related or not as once you rev the truck a little its hard to hear b/c the truck is loud. You can feel a little tap or something in your feet on the floorboards when you hear this noise. Did a quick glance at exhaust, etc and dont see anything obvious tapping. Just started this yesterday and of course its raining out now.
Anyway, itll make the noise, and the second you pop it out of reverse it stops. Tranny fluid looks healthy, no metal flakes that I can see yet....Anyone have a clue?
