Hey Stephen, I noticed on your Sale Page that you now have TH400/NP205 adapters available. I assume these are aftermarket, and as such could you modify a few of these to fit 4L80E? I would buy one, and I'm sure you would no problem moving the rest of them. So what say ye?
Thanks, Jimbo

Bump to the top in hopes someone will answer; If not, I'm going to head into the machine shop and figure it out myself.

the main diffrence is the lip for the seal to sit on. just look at both and make the other match the 4l80 unit. i used a 2x4 fixed yoke 4l80 and made a spacer to the 400 205 mount so i didnt need to change the shaft out. the spacer is 4l80-e on one side and 400 on the other side.

if you are changing from 2x4 tranny you need to change out the plug that has pin hole to lube the tail bearing to a solid plug as 4x4 dont need that. if not changed tranny damage will happen as a gm master tech told me.

SweetK30, Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to do this myself. I'm working on round pattern adapters, and can make this work pretty easily. One question, if you don't mind; What is the length of your figure 8 adapter from tranny side to t/c side, not including your spacer?
Thanks, Jimbo
