I think the "round" pattern TH400/NP205 adaptor will work with a 400 that had a 208 behind it, but I can't guarantee it.
I do have one of the "round" 205 adaptors in stock. Shipping to your door is $21.
Find if it'll fit and get back to me, I don't want to ship it to you and find that it isnt going to work.

The 205 and 208 patterns are differmt, however changing the adaptor solves that problem right off the bat.
The only problem as I see it is the length of the tailshaft, TH400's had three that I know of.
Also the 205's had two lenght of inputs, somthing else you'll have to keep in mind.
