Hi everybody. I posted this in 73-91 forum but will try here as well.
I'm thinking of replacing my th350-np208 with a th400-np205 (fig 8) in my 81 short box. Does anyone have experience with the ORD twin stick with the 400-205 combo with a bench seat as I'm just thinking there may be a clearance issue with the shifters and the seat. Also, if anyone's done this swap, do the shifters at least come close to hitting the existing shifter hole in the tranny hump so there's minimal trimming?
