th400 np208 seal question?

does anyone know if there is a gasket or an o-ring in between the two where the meet? I just got the combo but the guy said when he put it together he didnt put a seal in. If so where can I find one?

Where to get 'em? Is it something I should just be able to go down to the parts store to get. I called a parts store and I got a random... HUH?
