I have the gear and maybe the gov.Have you got a pic of it???

The governor is behind a nearly round cover, held on with 4 bolts. Located at the rear, right side of the transmission. Looks like this:
They are going for about $15-16 new. But it didn't say if it was for gas or diesel though

i think i have the tc out of the th400 i pulled out of my 89 burb. cause i know didn't need it as mine was a 6.2
The torque converter was from behind a 6.2L? If you can find it I'll add it into the deal on the tranny mount and have you ship them together.

yeah my 89 had a 6.2. i ment to say rick didn't need it as he was going to swap it to gasser
4xrick up here got the TH400 from you? If thats the case he might still have the governor as well...

yeah thats the. i'm not sure on miles. I know the tranny was rebuilt somewhere in the 140K that were on it.
