Just finished up the last couple bits of my trans t-case upgrade. Swapped out a TH350/NP203 for a TH400/NP205.

I went throught the TH400 and replaced the sprag (it was bad), all seals and all clutches/steels, as well as setting everything up per all specs defined in my overhaul book.

Took the truck out for a test drive and it drives great, except at full throttle from a stop, the 1-2 shift is a little soft/slow. At half throttle and less it shifts great, nice and crisp (trans-go shift kit). The 2-3 is good all the time.

Anyone know what it could be? How soon do I need to pull it out and how bad is it? I've build about 5 trannys now and never had this issue. I'm a novice I know, but gotta learn somehow :)

did you do anything with the vac. modulator?

I hooked it up where the th350 was hooked up, should be the same. Is it possible the modulator is bad and that is what's causing it, or is there somewhere else the vacuum should be?
