Does the TH400 have a kickdown...

I'm yankin the th350/203 out this weekend and putting the th400/205 in...

It's been about 5 years since i did the last one...

Kickdown cable?

A 400 uses an electric switch mounted under the accel. pedal.

hmmm...

Cause right now there's a th350 in there... and there's some sort of cable... ( i know what a th350 and 700 look like)
I'll have to get dirty and look closer this weekend...

What are you going to look at, a th400? Don't waste any time studying the TH350, it's a completely different set up.

ok...

Cause when we pulled the small block, i remember unhooking a "cable" that went down to the th350 tranny...
I'm tryign to think where this would go on the th400... and cant seem to think where...
Doesnt teh TH400 just get a vacum hookup?

I've never seen anything but what i thought was the reverse light hookup on the TH400...

There is no kickdown cable on the 400, that function is electric. Yes, there is also a vac modulator to control shift points.

You get the B&M kit?

Thats what I have in my K5, I can get you a picture of how I installed mine if you would like.
