th400 spline count ?

i have an 85 cucv diesel, th400, 208 combo. anyone know the spline count coming out of the th400? i'm looking to swap in an np241. i compared the 241 to a 208 i took out of an 84 and the spline count is the same as well as the depth of the input from the front of the input to the front of the case. should the 208 from the 84 w/700r4 and the 208 from the 85 w/th400 be the same case?... i'm confusing myself now... anyone know what i'm talking about?

TH350, 700R-4....27 spline
81 up SM465, TH400....32 spline.

The 241 should bolt right up, you'll just need to swap a 32 spline input gear into the 241 first. It's a pretty easy job.
