TH400 Swap/Length

I'm considering swapping in a TH400 this winter (in place of SM465). I'm not sure if it's a good idea just yet, SM465's don't tend to break. Does anyone know the length of a TH400 from the bellhousing face to the rear of the case? Bonus points if you know the length from the bellhousing to the rear of the NP203 adaptor!

You are in luck I have one of each. I have the Th400 with a 205. I also have a TH400 with a 203 that I will measure tomorrow for you. Do you want from the bell housing to the front of the 205?

Okay the adapter is 4.25" long and the T/C is 12" long. So you get 40.5" total lenght. The adapter for the 203 is only 1.125". I do have a Th400 and 203 forsale. Look in the parts section. It maybe more than you want I don't know.

I really need the th400, adaptor, and the np203 front half. I've got a doubler with an SM465 right now and i want to know how much longer/shorter it will get if I swap these TH400 parts in. I'll check out your ad in the parts 4 sale section, too. I'm sorta unclear on your dimensions.... I need to know the distance from the front of the bellhousing to the rear face of the 203 adaptor. According to Shawn's info and your adaptor info, It should be 24.25" + 1.125", right?

Yes the TH400 is 24.25" long and the adapter for the 203 is 1.125". So the total lenght is 25.375 to the front of the 203. The TH400 is 24.25 and the 205 adpater is 4.25 and the 205 is 12" long from front face to the center of the ujoint. That is how I got 40.5" I hope that is clearer.
