I got a TH400/NP205(rear slip yolk) combo from a 84 chevy diesel. Whats the torque convertor specs? Will that torque convertor be ok with my mostly stock 350sb ( edelbrock dualplane intake and holley 670 truck avenger, headers)? Or do I need to get a different torque convertor?

the torque convertor will not work with a 350. No diesel, big block, 400sb, and 700r4 torque convertors should be used with your setup, they wont work. Find a stock one from a 350 that was either in a th350 or th400, thats the only one that will work.

Whats the difference?

So whats the difference? What kind of stall should I be looking for then (what range)? I have 4.56 gears and will prolly be running 40" tires. It will be primaraly a trail truck but I still want to be able to go down the highway at 60-65 between trails.
