Th400 to np205 adapter needed

I am looking for the adapter only that goes between the th400 and the np205,its got to be the 86 and later style with the round bolt pattern......Ive got lots of stuff to trade or will pay outright for one,i need it asap so if anyone can help......

do you know the lenth of the adaptor that you need????
i have one that will mate a 400/208 or it also mates a 400/205 from a 85 or newer 4 speed 205.
don't know if that fit's you're aplacation. so if you know the lenth that you need, i could be sure if it is right or not. i'm looking for the old style 400/205. got one to trade??????

I believe that the adapter i need will be somewhere around 4 inches long but ive never seen one in person im just guesstimating that itll be at least that long and maybe longer........sorry i dont have the 205 your looking for but i will still pay cash for the adapter if its the right one......PLease let me know...........

the one i have is only 2 and half inches long.
we are both out of luck then.

Dave, that 2.5" long adaptor is the 400/208 combo.

The 400/205 combo's all used a longer adaptor.

ah but when i pulled the tranny transfor out of my 87 1 ton with 32 spline 465/205 it went right on this adaptor when i had it bolted to my 400. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
