Anyone know the ratios for the th400 tranny? (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). I put a th400 out of CUCV Diesel in my 1990 blazer. (6" lift with 35" tires.) I had the tranny rebuilt with a Hughes manual shift kit and is in frony of the NP208 case. I am going to put the original NP241 case back in the Blazer, but I have to change the 27-spline input to a 32-spline first.
The converter that I am using came from the Diesel, although it bolts up nicely to the 5.7 engine. I know the stall rates are different, and I want to know what gear ratios are in the tranny so that I can decide which converter and diff gears to go with. I'm going to eventually change out the 10-bolts to 1-tons, but I want to get everything ready first.
