TH400???

I now have a TH350 in my K5 but I want to put a TH400, my question is would the 400 bolt right on without any adapters, my t-case is a 203 I know if I put a 700 I do need an adapter, I have the 700 from my camaro too but I dont want to put adapters, I rather go with a 400 I've been told that the 400's are way stronger can somebody help thanks.

I've also heard they are stronger, but also heard that they take up more power from the engine to work. I wouldn't like to go with all that hassle unless is the 700 tranny in order to get the overdrive, besides, any model, new or rebuilt tranny you buy from a reputable shop will be strong nowadays.
